El 2020 nos hizo recordar lo efímero de nuestra existencia, lo efímero nos invita a reflexionar sobre la transitoriedad de la vida, por lo tanto, sobre nuestro presente, nuestro propósito y todo lo que nos rodea.
En esta exhibición se genera un vínculo entre la realidad objetiva y la realidad aumentada, lo que es y lo que puede dejar de ser, lo que existe y lo que pudiera llegar a ser únicamente un recuerdo.
2020 reminded us of the ephemerality of our existence, the ephemeral invites us to reflect on the transience of life, therefore, on our present, our porpouse and everything that surrounds us.
In this exhibition, a link is generated between objective reality and augmented reality, what is and what can cease to be, what exists and what could become only a memory.

Pasamos nuestra vida pretendiendo ser en lugar de simplemente Ser. Todas las respuestas esenciales no están en el exterior, todos nuestros deseos y objetivos existenciales están en nuestro interior, si comenzamos por encontrarnos a nosotros mismos, encontraremos la verdad, ya que somos la verdad en sí misma.
La razón que se enfoca hacia dentro es el Ser, por lo tanto la verdad y lo espiritual, hacia fuera se convierte en todo lo mundano, lo material y lo relativo. Si dejamos de prestar atención al no-ser, a lo exterior, solo quedará nuestra esencia, la consciencia pura, el verdadero Ser.
La verdad de cada ser y de cada cosa no está solo en nuestra percepción.

We spend our lives pretending to be instead of simply Being. All the essential answers are not outside, all our existential desires and goals are inside us, if we start by finding ourselves, we will find the truth, since we are the truth itself.
The reason that focuses inward is the Being, therefore the truth and the spiritual, outwards it is all the mundane, material and relative. If we stop paying attention to the non-being, to the exterior, only our essence will remain, the pure consciousness, the true Being.
The truth of each being and of each thing is not only in our perception.

Decía Russeau que todos los seres humanos nacemos buenos y nos tornamos malos por influencia, Machiavelo decía lo contrario, que todos nacemos malos y nos tornamos buenos por instrucción. Yo digo que nacemos puros, con alguna carga genética pero somos el resultado de nuestras experiencias, sin embargo, tenemos intrínseco en nuestro ser algo que nos dice lo que está bien y lo que está mal, sin necesidad que alguien nos lo enseñe, aquí volvemos a nuestro interior, al encuentro con nosotros mismos, con nuestra conciencia, con nuestro Ser, solo es cuestión de aprender a escucharnos. Nuestras creencias y valores aprendidos, son los detonantes para convertirnos en quien seremos, tenemos esa libertad.
El ser humano está hecho para dar, lo que esperes de la vida no es lo importante, lo que tu das desde tu esencia es lo que importa y ahí radica tu sentido.
Russeau said that all human beings are born good and become bad by influence, Machiavelli said the opposite, that we are all born bad and become good by instruction. I say that we are born pure, with some genetic load but we are the result of our experiences, however, we have intrinsic in our being something that tells us what is right and what is wrong, without the need for someone to teach us, here we come back to our interior, to the encounter with ourselves, with our conscience, with our Being, it is only a matter of learning to listen to ourselves. Our learned beliefs and values are the triggers to become who we will be, we have that freedom.
Human being is made to give, what you expect from life is not important, what you give from your essence is what matters and therein lies your meaning.

Un niño de 3 años, pregunta siempre ¿porqué?, es curioso, está tratando de entender el mundo. ¿Cuándo perdimos esa curiosidad? El ser humano está hecho para contemplar, no para ver, oler, oir, probar o sentir, por aparte, sino para poner todos los sentidos en un solo instante y de manera consciente llegar a la contemplación.
La contemplación nos hace ver todos los aspectos sobre cada cosa, ¿para qué sirve, porqué existe, como está formada, que sentimientos nos genera, que papel juega en nuestro universo? Y esto nos conduce a su propósito, así todos los seres de la naturaleza tienen una función, un propósito definido desde su esencia que genera un bien colectivo, un equilibrio. El ser humano sin embargo, fue dotado con voluntad y razón y esta condición ha hecho que en lugar de buscar un equilibrio, busquemos un bien propio y así estemos acabando con nuestro entorno y con nosotros mismos.

A 3-year-old boy always asks why? He is curious, he is trying to understand the world. When did we lose that curiosity? Human being is meant to contemplate, not to see, smell, hear, taste or feel, separately, but to put all the senses in a single moment and consciously reach contemplation.
Contemplation makes us see all aspects of each thing, what is it for, why does it exist, how is it formed, what feelings does it generate in us, what role does it play in our universe? And this leads us to its purpose, so all beings in nature have a function, a purpose defined from its essence that generates a collective good, a balance. Human being, however, was endowed with will and reason and this condition has meant that instead of seeking a balance, we seek for our own good and thus we are destroying our environment and ourselves.

El afán de entender nuestra esencia no radica en algo físico, sino espiritual, el propósito de cada uno se debe encontrar, como seres únicos que somos, desde nuestra individualidad. Es responsabilidad de cada uno de nosotros encontrarlo, cada uno debe llevar a cabo un cometido concreto, tan único como nuestra esencia, por lo tanto, no debemos limitarnos a existir, tenemos que encontrar nuestro verdadero Ser y así encontrar nuestro sentido.
UNUM es entender que formamos parte de un todo y que todo lo que hagamos va a repercutir en pequeña o gran medida pero siempre va a repercutir en el todo. Es nuestra decisión si queremos enfocar nuestra vida hacia la generación de un bien común, pero creo que darle ese sentido haría que nuestra existencia sea todo menos efímera.
The desire to understand our essence does not lie in something physical, but spiritual, the purpose of each one must be found, as unique beings that we are, from our individuality. It is the responsibility of each one of us to find it, each one must carry out a specific task, as unique as our essence, therefore, we must not limit ourselves to exist, we have to find our true Being and thus find our meaning.
UNUM is understanding that we are part of a whole and that everything we do will have repercussions to a small or great extent, but it will always have repercussions on the whole. It is our decision if we want to focus our life towards the generation of a common good, but I think that giving it that meaning would make our existence anything but ephemeral.
